El artículo de esta semana, está dedicado a una novedosa y reciente noticia que recibíamos tras un largo proceso, que ha durado dos meses, el cual ha dado lugar a la ley 14/2013 de 27 de septiembre, de apoyo a los emprendedores y su internacionalización, la cual se considera una de las leyes más esperadas de la presente legislatura, cuyo objetivo es potenciar la creación de nuevas empresas, y a su vez, establecer su regulación.
Con esta nueva ley, se pretende desde atraer nuevos talentos para la inversión, hasta ser un incentivo para los accionistas, pasando por el fomento de un espíritu emprendedor que tanta falta nos hace en este momento. Dichos objetivos, se consiguen a través de la reducción en los requisitos y facilitación de la obtención de los permisos de residencia y visados, para todos aquellos extranjeros extracomunitarios, los cuales acrediten que son inversores, emprendedores, profesionales altamente cualificados o investigadores.
Esta iniciativa, supone la atracción de capital, no solo financiero, sino también humano, para dar un empujón a la economía, y atraer a todas esas personas, que no daban el paso de invertir en nuestro país, por las dificultades que se les planteaba, eliminando muchas de las barreras con las que se encontraban.
La ley trae consigo unas cuantas novedades, pero en este post vamos a examinar las que se centran en la figura del expatriado.
Vamos a diferenciar dos figuras: el visado de residencia para inversores, y la autorización de residencia para inversores. La diferencia entre ambos, radica principalmente en al tiempo que se otorga a cada uno, ya que en el caso del visado, se otorga por un periodo de un año, y en el caso de la autorización, el plazo es de dos años, aunque la diferencia principal, es que para la obtención de la residencia es requisito indispensable, haber obtenido previamente el visado de inversor, el cual ha de solicitarse en el país de procedencia.
El proceso para la obtención de estas autorizaciones, se simplifica no solo en sus requisitos, sino también en los plazos, lo cual agiliza el trámite enormemente, y a su vez, se vuelve más atractivo de cara al exterior.

This week’s article is devoted to a new and recent news that we received after a long process which has lasted two months, which has resulted in the law 14/2013 of 27 September, to support the entrepreneurs and their internationalization, which is considered to one of the most anticipated laws of the current legislature, which aims to promote the creation of new businesses, and in turn, establish their regulation.
With this new law, it is intended to attract new talent from investment, to be an incentive for shareholders, through the promotion of an entrepreneurial spirit that we all need at this time. The Law brings about a few new features, but in this post we will examine focusing on the figure of the expatriate.
Let’s differentiate two figures: the Investor residence visa and residence permit for investors.
