Last Thursday 18 and Friday 19 May, our colleague Sílvia Crespo, Art-Handler of SIT Barcelona, conducted a successful course on Packaging and Handling of Heritage Goods in Barcelona. This course was held in collaboration with the company Veraicon and consisted of a theoretical and a practical part, giving students the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the first session.
Sílvia Crespo, who has extensive training in the field of Heritage and is an expert in Conservation and Restoration of Movable Goods, has been part of the SIT family for more than 10 years. During the course, she shared her knowledge and experiences with the attendees, providing them with the necessary tools to apply this knowledge in their respective sectors.
The course was very well received, selling out the available places just a few weeks after the opening of registration. Due to the high demand, an additional edition has already been confirmed for the second half of 2023.
